Just Overhauled Olds Ambassador Stock #5464T Trumpet (1965-1966)
This Trumpet has been totally Overhauled. Click here for more information about overhauling.
A new leadpipe has been installed. A very nice looking and good playing Olds. It has been stripped of the old lacquer, buff polished and re-lacquered. All solder joints inspected and redone if necessary. Valves and vave casings lapped and reconditioned.

We do not have the original specifications of this Olds Ambassador however the website at says this about the 1962 Ambassador quoted from the 1962 Olds catalog:
'Lightning-fast valve action, medium large bore, polished brass reinforced with nickel-silver, third valve intonation adjustment with adjustable stop rod, rugged-three point bracing, haexagonal mouthpiece receiver, and distinctive water key assembly. A-10 Ambassador Trumpet, with VacA-Bond case: $154.50'

The valves have been cleaned, lapped and polished. All felts, corks and springs have been replaced |
The serial number reads 546xxx (x is for security) |
This horn was stripped of all old lacquer. New lacquer applied after it was strapped and buff polished. |
All dents and dings have been romoved. You can hardly tell this is a used instrument. Slight flaws are hard to see but do not effect the sound or playing |

These instruments do not stay in playing condition and many times are not worth the cost to repair. Replacement parts are usually unavailable and are non-standard.
